months; Sherwood Trunks travels far and wide to
discover and collect a wide variety of antique

– Ca. 1880’s

the late 1880’s, this trunk is quite handsome
for its age, but in need of much TLC.
Original hardware showcasing the C&F impressions
on the metal on the exterior and original maker
label is found inside. The dried old
canvas is being removed to showcase the
beautiful natural wood underneath.
Check back often to see progress of refinishing
the exterior. As with all Sherwood Trunks
you may have your choice of paper or fabric for
the interior for an additional 60.00.

Flat Top Travel Trunk – Ca. 1890’s
style trunk was very popular during this era and
used by many to travel with by land and sea.
The white pine wood is solid and the original
dried canvas was removed to showcase the lovely
natural wood underneath. Hardware is somewhat
fancy denoting a well traveled owner. As a
perfect flat top, this size is particularly
useful as a coffee table, end table, or at the
foot of a bed for extra storage.
